19th Century French Provincial Oak Vitrine
About the Item
Simple yet sophisticated, this Provincial oak vitrine has a natural air of poise. Made in France in the 1800s, the beautiful joinery of the cabinet is perfectly accentuated by the organic finish of the carefully restored oak. Simple, rectangular windows provide a clear view onto a series of shelves, which would have originally been used to display the prized glass and chinaware of the household. Fluted accents add a Neoclassical touch, while cabriole feet and a scalloped apron lend a note of Rococo vivacity.
