What is the golden ratio in art?
1 Answer
In layman's terms, the golden ratio is the ratio of a line segment cut into two pieces of different lengths such that the ratio of the whole line segment to the longer of the two segments is equal to the ratio of the longer line segment to the shorter line segment. The golden ratio is utilized in art to create an aesthetically pleasing and well balanced composition.
