Portrays the actor Ichimura Uzaemon XIII as Okaji of Gion, 1862 Series; The Six Poetry Immortals - Handsome design from a late Toyokuni III series pairing kabuki characters with Japan's famous Six Poetry Immortals, a group of notable poets featured in a mid-ninth century anthology. Here, actors stand in for the famous poets, each full length figure set against a plain background with delicate allover cloth embossing. A rarely seen series with expressive figures.
