The Disinformation Damage print serves as a commentary on the harmful impact of social media on politics. The remedy to this chaos lies in citizen vigilance: fact-checking information and supporting credible journalism. Only by understanding the facts can informed decisions about policy be made. A portion of the proceeds from this print will aid Brave New Films in their investigative efforts addressing critical social justice issues such as voter suppression and racial bias.
Frank Shepard Fairey is an American contemporary street artist, graphic designer, activist, illustrator, and founder of OBEY Clothing who emerged from the skateboarding scene. He first became known for his ""Andre the Giant Has a Posse"" sticker campaign while attending the Rhode Island School of Design.

Expanding on the legacies of artists such as Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, Shepard Fairey’s practice disrupts the distinction between fine and commercial art.
A major artist of the street art movement, Fairey rose to prominence in the early 1990s through the dispersion of prints, posters, stickers and murals, related to his Obey Giant campaign, which yielded an international cultural phenomenon.
