Leonor Fini Signed Framed Beautiful Lithograph Print Deux Femmes, circa 1970s
By Leonor Fini
Located in Studio City, CA
A beautiful lithographic print by Argentinian-born Italian surrealist painter, designer, illustrator, and author Leonor Fini titled "Deux Femmes". Leonor Fini was arguably the most ferociously and heroically independent woman artist of the 20th century. Fini herself never accepted the label of "woman artist," and likewise, never considered herself a Surrealist despite her works having been included in nearly every major Surrealism exhibition from 1936 to the present. In the 1930s she lived in Paris, France where she collaborated with, or who were influenced by such prominent 20th-century artists as Jean Cocteau, Man Ray, Leonora Carrington, Salvador Dalí, Joseph Cornell, Dora Maar, Anna Magnani, Albert Camus, Jean Genet...

Roy Lichtenstein Signed Limited Edition Lithograph Screenprint Haystack #6, 1969
By Roy Lichtenstein
Located in Studio City, CA
An iconic image by Pop Art master artist Roy Lichtenstein titled "Haystack #6" from his critically acclaimed, somewhat rare, and now hard-to-find Haystack series. Lichtenstein, inspired by his trip to Paris and viewing of Claude Monet's impressionistic paintings of haystacks, the work, and series is a pop art homage to the French painter. The series of seven "Haystack" prints runs from morning (yellow) to midnight (black, with embossing) each reflecting Monet's changing light effects. This work is a limited edition lithograph with screen printing on Rives BFK white wove paper. It was published by Gemini G.E.L., Los Angeles (with their blind stamps to the lower right margin). The work was done in a limited numbered edition of 100. The work is hand-signed in pencil, dated (1969), and numbered (90/100) by Lichtenstein. Enrico Baj Untitled 1989 Signed Lithograph Framed
By Enrico Baj 1
Located in Keego Harbor, MI
For your consideration is an amusing glitter embellished lithograph depicting a female nude and military figure, with an annotation E.A., and hand signed by Enrico Baj. Dimensions: 34 H x 40 W (framed). In excellent condition. Enrico Baj (1924-2003) was an Italian artist and writer on art. Many of his works show an obsession with nuclear war. He created prints, sculptures but especially collage. He was close to the surrealist and dada movements, and was later associated with CoBrA. In 1972 public display of a major work, Funeral Of The Anarchist Pinelli (a reference to Carlo Carrà's painting The Funeral of the Anarchist Galli of 1911), was banned after the murder of the police officer believed to be responsible for Giuseppe Pinelli's death in custody. However his work continued to be political. In 1989 he designed thirty marionettes for Le Bleu-blanc-rouge et le noir, an opera by Italian composer Lorenzo Ferrero to a libretto by Anthony Burgess, written for the bicentenary of the French Revolution. In his last years he created a series of paintings in protest at the election of Silvio...
