Edwardian Green and Red Marbleised Slate Fire Place
About the Item
An outstanding marbleised slate fireplace, dating to the late Victorian/Early Edwardian period of circa 1900-1905, the slate hand crafted and shaped, before the application of the decorative rouge royal red and black hand marbling effect.
The fireplace dismantles into four pieces and is offered in its' original, untouched state.
Small losses to some areas of the slate at bottom of supports and remnants of the fixing cement from when it was removed (please see images).
