About the Item
This item is "Gorin-to"

The Gorin Pagoda is based on the Buddhist worldview that the universe is made up of the five elements of earth, water, fire, wind, and sky, and this idea is applied to the pagoda, which is made up of five tiers. ing.
Its origin comes from China and India.
This was made around 1500 to 1600.
(Late Muromachi period to early Edo period)
The material is probably sandstone.
The oldest one dates back to the late 12th century, and large ones were made at that time.
Therefore, each step is often carved separately.

This tower is truly an item from the era of downsizing.
This was a time when it was popular for common people to personally donate money to temples.
For this reason, small sizes that were easy to build were preferred.

It stands on its own, so it can be placed on a flat surface.
Place it in your garden, at your front door, or wherever you like.
This is a recommended item.
