Silver biscuit box
About the Item
Silver biscuit box of tapering cylindrical form, fitted with a hinged conical cover, hand chased around the edge with panels of graduated, stepped fluting, and surmounted by a pineapple-shaped finial; a symbol of hospitality. The silver body is fitted with two ring handles affixed with cast lion masks.
Although perfect for storing biscuits, the size of this silver box would make it useful to hold ice cubes or anything else you can think of.
