Art Deco Rare Porcelain Jester Powder, Trinket Box, Germain, C1930
About the Item
Dating to the 1930's this very attractive and rare Art Deco trinket box is made by a German company. Rare and in excellent condition, I couldn't find any flaws to note, she's free from any damage. The pot is marked to the base with the impressed numbers and Germany.
The lid of the box has a dance posed female jester. All hand painted, the attention to detail is just wonderful, so skillfully painted, from her slightly blushed cheeks to her tiny fingers, everything about this piece screams quality and at every angle she looks amazing.
This very rare Art Deco powder Jar is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing, only wear to the gilt outlines on the lid rim and base. This is a very rare and highly collectable 1920's dresser pot that would make an excellent addition to any good art deco porcelain or figural powder pot collection.
