About the Item
Set of 3 elegant Scandinavian L102/32 Candle Lights in brass and glass.
Nice examples of Hans-Agne Jakobsson's Candle Lanterns with their dark yellow/ochre mouth-blown glass shades. The brass base hides a spring mechanism that pushes the candle upwards while burning.
The manufacturer's sticker of AB Markaryd is still present beneath one of the Lanterns.
The height of 2 of the lanterns is 13,4" (34cm), the third is 12,2" (28,5cm)
Nice condition with some patina to the brass. One of bigger lanterns has 2 small bumps on the brass cylinder of the base.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson
Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a Swedish interior and furniture designer, who ran his own company from 1951. Jakobsson was especially famous for his lighting designs, which often had a softly glowing light and organic shape. His designs were inspired by great, modern Scandinavian designers such as the Finnish icon Alvar Aalto and Danish lighting master Poul Henningsen.
