Beautiful cotton jacquard frog blanket by Barbara Janczak.
The Animals series includes soft cotton blankets and bedspreads with intriguing patterns with animal motifs. Or maybe human ones? The heroes of this series refer to Eastern iconography. The tiger is traditionally a symbol of strength and nobility, the guardian of the meditator; the frog is a symbol of rebirth and fertility; an octopus is a creature of great intelligence and intuition that lives in a magical world. Contemporary graphics and juggling of textures make the fabrics interesting both to the eye and to the touch, constituting a wonderful addition to a contemporary, warm interior. Created by a tactile designer for other tactile people. Snuggle up with a frog, swing around with an octopus, take shelter under a tiger on bad days!
Barbara Janczak - designer and artist who lives and works in Kraków. She deals with illustration, poster, typography and interdisciplinary activities. Her field of activity is the zone between art and design. Since 2016, she has also been a design instructor, currently associated with the University of Krakow (Former UP). She also worked on Chongqing Business and Technology University in China.
This oversized blanket is as perfect to use as a bedspread as it is for draping over a sofa.
