Bounce Armchair by Daniel Nikolovski

About the Item

Bounce Armchair by Daniel Nikolovski Dimensions: W 90 x D 82 x H 80 cm Material: PU Foam, Painted wood By deconstructing a regularly looking cubic armchair, the idea behind this piece is to show what’s happening behind the scenes in an upholstery lab. Each foam colour represents different thicknesses of foam and is combined in a way to create the ultimate comfort chair. This armchair also has a mechanism, that allows 360 degrees rotation. Daniel Nikolovski (1992) is a Macedonian-born interior and furniture designer, currently living and working in Milan, Italy. His work is narrative-driven and is characterised by the use of sculptural geometries, altering proportions, expressed through rich range of materials such as: steel, resin, tortoiseshell acetate, boldly-patterned woods and fabrics used in the fashion industry. An alumni of Istituto Europeo di Design (BA) - Milan and a graduate of the Royal College of Art (MA) - London, some of his past work experiences include: Creative Direction and Design for the furniture brand KABINET, Verona (2019), Set Design for the exhibition Designing Craft / Crafting Design, Vienna (2017), Interior Design for NCDA, Hong Kong (2015). Throughout his career, he has presented his work at Salone del Mobile, FIAC (Paris), Paris Design Week, Offsite Online (NY) and Vienna Design Week. Daniel’s work has been published in Elle Decoration, Marie Claire Maison, AD and The New York Times.
