Mid-Century Modern Teal & Blonde Armless Bench with Back Style Tommi Parzinger

About the Item

Handsome Mid-Century Modern armless bench with a back and button details done in the style of Tommi Parzinger. It is in wonderful vintage condition and recently recovered in new yet vintage fabric. The legs have been touched up but not refinished as we prefer their original look. Please see photos, circa 1940s-1960s This bench is nothing short of fabulous! But it is an enigma. We obtained it from an estate sale where we purchased several pieces of Tommi Parzinger furniture. Unfortunately, this bench was unmarked. However, we feel it is so in his style. To stay close to its originality, we have reupholstered it in the same teal color it was originally covered in. We used one of our new yet vintage fabrics. In other words, from our new old stock fabric supply. It looks wonderful. Sleek and simple yet with detail. Notice the buttons on its back. I would call it a Parsons style bench if not for its tapered and slightly curved back legs. This armless bench will be perfect in your Mid-Century Modern home or blend deliciously with your Hollywood Regency style. Use it in a hall, as a banquette, or at the end of your bed. It is a perfectly stunning piece. You need to make it yours.
