English George II Period Leather Lounging Chair, Backstool, Walnut Cabriole Legs

About the Item

English George II period walnut, leather upholstered backstool or lounging chair of generous proportions. Acanthus leaf and shell carved cabriole legs with pad feet and fine rich leather upholstery with brass tacks make this a handsome library chair. This chair was formerly in the Colonial Williamsburg collection, circa 1750.
