1950’s Shield Back Mid Century Upholstered Dining Chair
1950’s Shield Back Mid Century Upholstered Dining Chair. Very good quality dining chair sourced in the UK from a community hall. Originally made in the Czech republic in Sapele wood, little is known about their history but they are beautifully made and very comfortable with good scale seats and backs. The chairs are in excellent condition, every chair passes through our workshop where it is serviced and rejuvenated. Each chair is cleaned and waxed making the most of the rich original grain and colour. Seat height 48cm.
WORKSHOP REPORT
Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
