Paul Frankl Cork Highboy Dresser for Johnson Furniture Co.

About the Item

Paul Frankl’s cork furniture pieces are among his longest-lasting contributions to American modernism and are highly sought after to this day. This example, a cork top waterfall edge highboy dresser designed for and produced by Johnson Furniture Co has gone through a full restoration process. It features a cork veneer top and sides with ebonized drawer fronts. Each of the seven drawers showcase round cork pulls encased in brass. The whole piece sits on four ebonized tapered legs.   Dimensions
 40” width x 21” depth x 45” height. Condition Excellent restored condition; professionally refinished.
