An original, Antique Bohemian Garnet Floral Spray from the late Victorian era, the 1880s. A large and delightful motif featuring a wheat sheaf pinned by a sunburst pave set with fancy rose cut stones. The variety of cuts creating a wonderful sparkling and opulent effect. A symbolic and a superbly elegant style. The history of garnet jewellery goes back hundreds of years and it’s not surprising given how wonderful it is. The Victorian era saw the meteoric rise of Bohemian garnet jewellery - jewellery mined and crafted in the historic region of Bohemia, latterly the Czech Republic.
