Antique Late Victorian Novelty Shell Purse Pendant Necklace Silver Metall
About the Item
This late Victorian novelty purse was created out of two salt water shells and joined to a long silver guard chain. The shells have been mounted in a silver plated metal purse fitting. Both shells are in perfect condition and have a fine lustre. The long silver guard chain has been added by a previous owner, originally this extravagant purse would have been fitted with a shorter chain.
