Art Deco Sapphire and Diamond Navette Ring
About the Item
Here we have a truly stunning navette ring taken from the early to mid stages of the 20th century. This unique piece showcases a single marquise cut diamond at the centre of the face. This bright principal stone sits slightly risen and is surrounded by multiple curvaceous layers consisting of perfectly matched cornflower blue square calibrated sapphires and round faceted old cut diamonds. The vibrant stones used and geometric shape of the face are typical features of the period which is celebrated for clean concise design. The piece is made complete by lightly engraved shoulders and an otherwise plain shank.
