About the Item
This is a lovely antique double heart ring dating back to the Victorian era. The ring features two open interlocking hearts which have been silver set with a vast array of round old cut diamonds on a yellow gold backing and band.
Double heart pieces such as this were popular romantic symbols of love in the mid-to-late Victorian era, with the two hearts representing a couple being forever intertwined.
This ring started life as an antique Victorian brooch but has been transformed into a wonderful ring by master jeweller Gaetano Chiavetta.
