Sasha Adler Design

Fearless, Loud and Ever So Chic

Former fashionista Sasha Adler knows that “mix and match” is a sensational way to set a signature style. So, that’s the approach she took when designing a home office for a vibrant young couple in Chicago, her home base too. To give them the functional but flexible workplace they desired, she tucked all the office tech inside the cabinetry behind the desk. She then furnished the room with a jazzy medley of objects, patterns and materials that might “not read as one note,” as Adler puts it, but still jam well together. For all the blare, this is a room of extraordinary sophistication, with its vintage Finn Juhl desk chair and marble obelisk lamps, all from 1stDibs, plus a moderne-style custom-designed brass chandelier and brilliantly graphic rug, inspired by one Adler spotted in Italy. The playful vibe makes it a favorite spot for hosting cocktails and game nights as well.
