Continuing in the spirit of his classical mimes, Richard MacDonald’s work entitled “Rain, Life Size” offers us an experience with rain, wind, movement, and joy. We feel the wind blowing the scarves; we see him holding and imaginary umbrella; we sense the water dripping from the mime’s palm onto the ground below.

And they dance rhythmically for all to see — in the leap and grace of the dancer, the power of the athlete, the gesture and passion of lovers, the spirit rises, and MacDonald captures it.
