Sterling Silver Edwardian Pot Pourri or Trinket Box

About the Item

A lovely Edwardian silver trefoil shaped pot pourri or trinket box, chased with flowers, foliage and scrolls. Lid lifts to reveal a gilt interior and has open scrolling and trellis work allowing the air to flow through, so that the perfume can circulate. This will be a beautiful thing to have on a dressing table, either for its original use or to store jewellery or small items, and is a good size. Hallmarked, made by Samuel Jacob, London 1902. Weighs 10.86 ozt or 337 g.
