Designed by Axel Einar Hjorth for the Stockholm Exhibition 1930, produced by NK Nordiska Kompaniet. Exhibited: Stockholm Exhibition 1930, NK’s Exhibition House. Literature: Björk, Christian, Ekström, Thomas, Ericson, Eric, Axel Einar Hjorth, Svenska arkitekter och formgivare, Orosdi-Back, Stockholm, 2014, p. 86. Axel Einar Hjorth (1888-1959) was a Swedish designer. He was during the years 1927-1938 head of design at Nordiska Kompaniet, which was a the time, one of the most important positions for a furniture designer in Sweden.
