Early Poul Kjærholm "PK 61" Coffee Table for E. Kold Christensen, 1950s

About the Item

An early and collectible PK-61 coffee table designed by Poul Kjaerholm and made by E. Kold Christensen in Denmark, circa 1950s. The table features a satin-chrome steel frame with the original green glass top. The frame shows absolutely marvelous patina, with a light and smooth "bronze" oxidation, as can be seen in the photos. It honestly doesn't get any better. The original glass is in very good vintage condition with only small, nominal cosmetic scratches and 1 tiny "fleabite" chip to an edge, which is also documented in one of the photos. Signed with E. Kold Christensen marking on base. This is a truly special and early example which will hold its value.
