Contemporary Glass Bonsai Hand Blown Glass Sculpture 2021 #04 Simone Crestani

About the Item

Introducing an exquisite Hand-Blown Glass Sculpture representing a bonsai tree, masterfully crafted by the renowned Italian artist Simone Crestani. This stunning sculpture encapsulates the delicate beauty and profound symbolism of a bonsai, capturing the essence of nature in a timeless work of art. "The bonsai is the symbol of my work; it is the art of giving form, with respect and full understanding of what I am taking care of. The bonsai is a concentration of life, it overcomes the barrier of size and expresses strength and energy; it is a work of art that is never finished, in which nature continues to develop and evolve. I shape the material, but the end result has an identity of its own. I help it to grow and wait until it gives me an indication of the equilibrium that will allow it to express itself. With the bonsai, I am always ready to start work again, to reach a new limit, to follow a new branch of thought. It is my work that grows, slowly, with exertion and wisdom, and each day gives me life and emotions." This hand-blown glass bonsai tree is a celebration of the artistry and philosophy of bonsai, embodying the spirit of growth, balance, and transformation. Each branch is meticulously crafted to reflect the natural beauty and intricate details of a bonsai tree. Elevate your space with this breathtaking sculpture, where the artistry of Simone Crestani and the timeless beauty of the bonsai converge. Perfect as a centerpiece or a cherished addition to your art collection, this sculpture invites you to experience the harmony and elegance of nature, preserved in exquisite glass form. Experience a touch of Italian escape, a blend of tradition and innovation, where the serene beauty of a bonsai tree brings tranquility and sophistication into your home. This sculpture not only decorates your space but also serves as a constant reminder of the delicate balance and enduring strength found in nature. • Antique, Rare & Decorative Pair of Hand Carved and Hand Painted Horse Sculptures
    Located in Lisse, NL
Stunning and unique pair of matching horse sculptures. With a combined experience of almost 30 years in the antiques trade, we were thrilled to once again find beautifully hand-crafted and decorative antiques that we had never seen before. From the density and the weight we can see and feel that these highly decorative horse sculptures are made of a tropical hardwood. Like, for example, with antique mirror frames or church sculptures these horses too were first covered with a mixture of chalk and glue so that the paint would hold longer. And, as so often is the case with antiques, the colors that were used for painting these horses are so much more beautiful than anything you find in this day and age that they truly are an absolute joy to look at. From the colors, the wear, the materials and the techniques that were used to create these horses we can see that these are 19th century antiques. However and unfortunately we lack the knowledge to be able to tell you from which country these highly decorative and sizeable works of art originate. We just can't find matching style horse sculptures anywhere on the worldwide web. They could be Chinese or Nepalese, but they could also be Persian or Arabian. We just have not been able to find out. What we do know is that they are definitely antique, they are in beautiful condition (with some wear, consistent with their age), they are highly decorative, probably unique and they have a look and feel that will instantly change the atmosphere of the room they are in. Mind you, our sharp price for this wonderful pair of horse sculptures...
