Caned desk chair by Ward Bennett for Brickel, Mid-20th Century Made of solid ash barrel back frame with caned back and sides, beautifully designed and comfortable. An upholstered seat with a thin cushion for extra comfort. Fully adjustable in height, tilt and swivels. These are both beautiful and useful. Condition: Some wear to finish, seats are worn through on some chairs. Cushion fabric is faded. Structurally sound, caning in good condition. 25" wide x 20" deep 1.75" thick cushion seat height and overall height is adjustable, lowest being 14.5 seat height Provenance: Private Collection, Southampton, New York.
