1960’s J16 Beechwood Danish Rocking Chair Designed By Hans Wegner

About the Item

A Danish design classic - J16 beechwood rocking chair by Hans Wegner. Introduced in 1944, this model dates to the 1960's, stamped 'Made in Denmark 66.5.1' along with the maker's label for FDB. The rocking chair is an excellent clean example, showing very light signs of wear. The original hand woven paper cord seat has a few very light marks. The solid beechwood frame has been cleaned and waxed. Very sturdy in structure, with no loose joints. The inside seat width is 52cm. Delivery is INCLUDED in the price for all areas in MAINLAND England & Wales.
