ABD STUDIO
Eschewing flash in favor of subtle, well-crafted elegance

An Oriental carpet. A Directoire commode. Panoramic wallpaper, hand colored in sepia tones by Zuber. With these classic elements at her disposal, Brittany H. Giannone, of ABD STUDIO, crafted a refreshingly modern bedroom for a San Francisco art collector who is herself an artist. And one who likes her modern conveniences: The custom bed conceals a mechanized TV in its footboard, while the bedside dressers by Wüd, topped in practical coffee-colored resin, hold Elan Atelier’s sturdy bronze Tree table lamps. Inspiring the room’s palette and its romantic air: John Baldessari’s 1994 screenprint Two Sunsets (One with Square Blue Moon).

“By prioritizing thoughtful expression of our authentic selves within our home, we encourage a more inspired life both within and outside the walls of our personal spaces.”
