Aipad Association International Photography Kunsthändler Schwarz-Weiß-Fotografie
Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD)
Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahre 1979 legt die Association of International Photography Art Dealers die Maßstäbe für Galerien fest, die sich auf die Kunst der Fotografie spezialisiert haben. Die AIPAD hat Mitglieder in Nordamerika, Europa, Asien und Australien und befasst sich mit wichtigen Themen der Branche wie der Erstellung eines Ethikkodex für Anbieter*innen, der Vertiefung der öffentlichen Wahrnehmung der Fotografie und dem Schutz der Rechte von Fotograf*innen und Käufer*innen. Die alljährliche Fotografieausstellung der AIPAD in New Yorks Pier 94 ist das wichtigste Event für Kurator*innen und Sammler*innen, die dort fotografische Werke auswählen – von seltenen Abzügen aus dem 19. Jahrhundert bis hin zu zeitgenössischen digitalen Kreationen.bis
