An old world fantasy made for the way we live now.
Unchanged since 1929, this Georgian revival concealed a forlorn expanse of rooms. A total renovation allowed for a new aesthetic ‘vocabulary,’ turning the inward-looking structure outward. Now interiors blend with the wooded grounds; a new living room pavilion opens to a formal garden and birch grove while an ‘orangerie’ floods the kitchen with natural light. No awkward vistas, forgotten corners – every detail considered.
