The decoration of a 19th century dependency pied-a-terre in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The goal was to provide an evocative atmosphere that captures the creole spirit of the place while providing a lifestyle of ease and comfort. Bold gestures such as a 19th century ashlar wallpaper, toile de jouy curtains and chintz wall upholstery are tempered with cotton ticking slipcovers and woven jute carpets throughout. French and continental antiques purchased in New Orleans complete the story.
