Modern Texas Retreat

This modern Texas retreat—a vacation home for prolific muralist, tattoo designer, and bridal veil designer Alli K—is an extension of her signature strictly-black-and-white style. Alli and her husband Landon purchased the sprawling lakefront lot in 2020 and quickly engaged Garza Interiors to imagine an on-brand oasis from the ground-up. The resulting property consists of an A-Frame cabin and ADU studio. Natural materials like wood paneling, zellige tile, arabescato corchia marble, plaster, concrete, and slate bring warmth and coziness to the modern cabin. Chromaticism is punctuated by pattern, texture, and vintage.
