Tribeca Penthouse

The overall airy and open design of this sprawling Tribeca Penthouse allowed us to tailor every aspect to the owners’ taste and needs. The color palette was kept soft, using cream, blue and gray tones to give a sense of tranquility and ease in this contemporary space. We added structure and functionality with built-ins, such as a library and media cabinet featuring high-end finishes.

A pair of mid-century modern Jens Risom cradled wingback chairs are updated with contrasting gray suede and floral-patterned upholstery. We love to use unexpected elements to customize furnishings such as the loveseat’s strap detail with buckle hardware and the blue leather edging with nickel cap detail on a custom coffee table. We often work with our clients to bring in artwork that reflects their personalities and interests. In this case, the Ganesh statue and elephant print near the entry are an inspiring nod to their heritage and culture. A custom animal mural in a playroom makes for an energizing area for this young family.
