Bespoke Stair Runner

A tired staircase which had a gloomy feel was transformed into a light, nourished and airy space with the use of colour and paint, light reflecting techniques and the restoration of the staircase itself.

We followed this by designing and installing an elegant stair runner to carry a traditional design seen in many of the room details throughout the property in a colour the client enjoys, finished with a bespoke stair rod to reflect the style of the curtain poles in each of the rooms in the property.

The finials on the rods were also designed and made to reflect finials seen elsewhere in the home on curtain poles.

Using bamboo within the wool runner meant that light was reflected from the floor, enhancing the gold colours and lifting the feel of the space even further.
