An old world fantasy for the way we live now.
Unchanged since 1929, this Georgian revival concealed an expanse of forlorn rooms requiring a total renovation. This allowed us to introduce a new aesthetic ‘vocabulary,’ turning the inward-looking structure outward. Interiors now blend with the wooded grounds; a new living room pavilion opens to a formal garden and birch grove while an ‘orangerie’ floods the kitchen with natural light. No awkward vistas, forgotten corners – every detail considered.
