Marking the first collaboration between Léo Terrando Studio and the Reymond family, L'Hôtel Gitan on Commercial Road in Prahran combines French inspiration with Art Deco heritage. Renowned Melbourne-based French chef Jacques Reymond and his family have brought their vision to life with this elegant gastropub.
The kitchen, positioned at the heart of the space, follows the curve of the building's exterior and highlights the spectacle of culinary preparation. Custom Art Deco patterns adorn the tiles behind the bar and the carpet, while satin finishes, brass details, and meticulous craftsmanship evoke the glamour of the era.
