Upper West Side Loft

For this project, we created a calming contemporary space with plenty of rich details and luxurious finishes. This newly built loft has tons of natural light and an open floor plan which allowed us to create distinct yet unified living and dining spaces. Adding a custom media cabinet to divide the living room and an adjacent playroom keeps this functional space open and airy. We chose a cool color scheme of blue, gray, cream and gold, which not only sets an ethereal tone, but also provides the perfect palette for the bold statement lighting and eclectic accents. Balancing more traditional furnishings with modern pieces in lush fabrics and layering in subtle texture in the wall coverings and draperies brings depth and warmth to the home.

For these clients, it was all about injecting personality with dramatic details—from an intricate silver shell mirror and playful tassel lamp in the entry—to the corset-inspired blue leather bar stools and a floating chandelier made of dozens of cast bronze light buds in the dining room. These lavish elements come together to make a standout interior that feels super luxe.
