After purchasing and immediately moving into the five-bedroom, post-war apartment “as-is”, the client approached NINA CARBONE inc to cosmetically overhaul the space—but in an especially abbreviated timeline. Bright white walls, ceilings and trim in the main spaces not only created a canvas for the family’s books and objects but also accommodated an ever-changing art collection. In deference to the limited schedule, furniture was mostly sourced via 1stdibs or ready-made online vendors.
