Il étudie à l'Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris où il se spécialise dans les arts décoratifs. En 1931, Ingrand crée son propre atelier, où il expérimente la transparence et la lumière, notamment avec des vitraux. Mad Ingrand a fait ses études à Paris, à l'École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts et à l'École nationale supérieure des Arts décoratifs, où il a étudié la décoration intérieure et s'est spécialisé dans les arts décoratifs ; il a obtenu son diplôme en 1927.
