At a time when the quartz revolution was beginning to take place this watch with automatic Cal. 1002 series movement carried on both the style and mechanical functionality of a traditional Seamaster. This big Seamaster is large for the era, measuring approx. 38.5mm in diameter by 47mm long. The focal point of this watch are its beautiful original champagne textured dial and large case hoods - it has a fantastic retro style. It has all of its original parts and presents in gorgeous condition - as about a 9.8 out of 10 condition - on the wrist, it looks like new. The case presents as gorgeous mint. The plating has previously been redone. The cool dial appears original and untouched, and in mint condition. Its automatic Omega movement, which is very clean, has just been overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. Although it was not an officially certified chronometer, after servicing ours is running exceptionally strong and true, keeping time on par with a brand new Omega chronometer in our testing recording position. For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a new leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment. Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance. La légende de Omega veut que la Speedmaster Professional Chronograph de la marque ait été la première montre à effectuer un alunissage. Mais l'amour universel pour montres Omega vintage ne se limite pas aux astronomes, et l'héritage de l'entreprise ne se limite pas à l'histoire de la Moonwatch.

Les origines de la maison remontent à 1848, date à laquelle l'horloger suisse Louis Brandt s'est installé pour la première fois. Ses fils Louis-Paul et César ont pris la relève après sa mort et, en 1894, ils ont créé un nouveau mouvement fascinant.
