Meadow Lake

For this remodeling/addition, we were excited to expound on a classic brick home by Houston architect John Staub. By respecting its original details, proportions, and relationship to the site, we successfully preserved the home’s historical significance while making the 1947 design more suitable for a 21st century family. Informal living spaces were expanded with a breakfast room, a guest suite, and a garden room, all contained in a single-story wing that comfortably maximizes the function and flow of the floor plan. Complementing the contemporary landscape, a new covered terrace and pool enhance the outdoor-living experience.
