Mid-Century Italian Inspired Pied-a-Terre
Apartment de Jessica Gersten Design à New York, NY
A real estate developer based in Memphis, reached out to Jessica in January 2021 having just purchased an apartment at 111 Murray Street in Tribeca as a New York pied-à-terre for his family.
Pulling from inspiration the client shared, Jessica developed a palette of jewel tone color, black iron and brass, travertine, and walnut, with accents of Mid-Century Italian and French design, combined with Contemporary Art and ceramics. In the apartment are references to the work of iconic designers Gio Ponti, Marco Zanuso, Ico Parisi, Jean Prouvé , Pierre Chareau and nods to artists Donald Judd & Alexander Calder.
