Ognivo

We designed a comfortable and functional space for a restaurant with an open kitchen, located in a former factory building. This St. Petersburg establishment combines avant-garde and constructivist elements, while paying homage to its industrial past, creating a unique atmosphere.

Upon entering the Ognivo restaurant, guests pass through the vestibule with a cloakroom into the reception area, where they are greeted by the restaurant's grand panorama. One of the key features is an alley lined with century-old olive trees brought from Sicily, for which we developed a specialized irrigation system and phyto-lamp lighting. Areas with tables are located near the large windows that face the courtyard terrace, separated by metal screens and illuminated by strategically placed lamps.

At the heart of the restaurant is the kitchen, which includes a grill area, an oven with a black metal and glass dome, and a bar area featuring a three-level contact counter made from a block of Karelian marble. Above the bar hangs a chandelier made of copper plates, weighing two tons, which spirals around the central bar area, showcasing the finest ingredients for creating exclusive signature cocktails.

A breakfast area is situated along the large windows that overlook Maly Prospekt, where the morning sun streams in. Beneath the mezzanine, there are intimate, cozy areas furnished with sofas. The concrete walls of these booths are adorned with metal mesh curtains, allowing soft light from the wall fixtures to filter through. To the left of the open kitchen is the chef's table area, with two massive tables, surrounded by greenery—olive trees and shrubs—planted in a custom-designed concrete and metal flowerpot.

The mezzanine, accessed via a spiral metal staircase with marble steps, houses a living area with a wood-burning fireplace, a sofa area, and a table for 14 guests. This level also features a tasting area and refrigerators for storing exclusive wines and aging meats. The bathroom on this
