The owners of this property are my longstanding clients and they wanted this to be a family home, first and foremost. They are a young Australian family who had bought a country holiday home nearer to some of their US grandparents and cousins. My clients wanted a southwest feel to the house that is typical of the region. This meant Navajo references, and exuding warmth and a rustic feel without being too 'country'.
