Prospect Heights

The brownstone, originally built in 1870, was renovated to modernize the amenities and highlight the landmarked building's historic charm. In the kitchen, the center wall was knocked out for a bay window, which invited in light and enhanced the garden and terrace view.

The home embodies my design style, which I call "eclectic layering," which combines high-end and low-end items in a layout that emphasizes coziness over all else. I love blending many unique items -- fixtures, upholstery, art, rugs, antiques -- to create a warm and welcoming space.
