Peter Pincus Decorative Objects

Peter Pincus è un artista e istruttore di ceramica americano, nato a Rochester, New York. Ha conseguito il BFA e l'MFA in ceramica presso l'Alfred University e nel frattempo è stato artista residente presso il Mendocino Art Center, a Mendocino, in California. Dopo la laurea, Pincus ha lavorato come Studio Manager e Resident Artist Coordinator del Genesee Center for Arts and Education, a Rochester, New York, come professore aggiunto di studi tridimensionali al Roberts Wesleyan College e ha aperto uno studio a Penfield, New York. Nell'autunno del 2014, Pincus è entrato a far parte della School for American Crafts del Rochester Institute of Technology, come Visiting Assistant Professor in Ceramica. An He lavora con la porcellana colorata per creare dipinti tridimensionali dai vasi. I suoi lavori sono stati esposti in sedi come la Collective Design Fair, Independent Art Projects al Mass MOCA, il Museum of Contemporary Craft, il San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts, il Cheon World Ceramics Center, l'Art of the Pot studio tour, l'American Pottery Festival, la Greenwich House Pottery e il National Council on Education for the Ceramic Art.
