MATERIAL MELODIES: FROM STILL LIFE TO MODERN MYTH. This virtual exhibition presents a compelling dialogue between four contemporary artists: Zoltan Gerliczki, Natasha Zupan, Dora Franco and Kevin Krag. Together, they explore the boundary between the physical object and its artistic representation, transforming everyday items, historical references, and musical instruments into profound visual narratives.

Zoltan Gerliczki Drawing inspiration from the opulence of the Dutch Golden Age, Gerliczki’s series reinterprets the traditional memento mori through a modern lens. His meticulous still-life compositions utilize high-resolution scans and photography to achieve extreme detail, creating a hyper-real "photographic illusion" that contemplates mortality and the passage of time.

Natasha Zupan’s work, particularly her series "Homage to Horst P. Horst" and "Folding Light," explores the interweaving of time, surface texture, and memory. By combining Renaissance ideals with contemporary mixed media and collage, she creates a tactile, ethereal world where past and future coexist in a perpetual state of change.

Dora Franco In her series "The Bodegones," Franco finds inspiration in historical recipes and the mastery of artists like Leonardo da Vinci. Her work is a pictorial investigation into light and color, where fruits and vegetables are treated with a reverent, painterly quality that elevates the mundane into the magical.

Kevin Krag A musician and artist, Krag’s series features "assembled guitar body sculptures" captured through archival photography. His work, such as the "High" and "NX" Working across different media, his productions incorporate nature in a controlled and ritualistic manner, often focusing on life and death, sound and silence, feminine and masculine.
