Fine old German Alliance 5-stones Ring featuring natural brilliant and old European cut Diamonds mounted in Platinum clusters on solid 18K Yellow Gold band. Openwork crown is 17 mm x 4.7 mm wide x 4mm deep. The largest Diamond in the center is Ø 4.25 x 2.25 mm deep / ca.04 ct. Two medium - sized Ø 4mm x 2.25 mm / 0.3 ct each, two smaller ones Ø 3mm x 2.25mm / 0.15ct each Total weight ca. 1.3 ctw. All stones natural, color ca. F - I / VS- SI. All stones with open backs. Faint / fragmented hallmarks, metal tested solid 18K Gold, Yellow with tint of Green. Hand - made ca. 1920-1930s. Finest used condition. Traces of old sizing. Tiny technological crack on the surface of one shoulder's ornamentation that appeared in the process of casting with no negative effect on band's integrity or safety. We can professionally fix that for additional payment. Size : Ø 5.25 US / 15.9 mm. Sizing is possible. Stones with closed backs may seem darker than stones with open backs. Such nuances of color perception do not give any excuse to claim item to be not as described. CUSTOM WORK : About Resizing: Resizing of rings can be done on request. The work will be done by experienced professional jeweler. Atelier De Montplaisir will not be responsible if in the process of resizing or customization any stone on the ring becomes loose, if any deformation occurs in general or if band of the ring changes shape or becomes deformed. Polishing of the band is always a final step of any resizing but machinery used for polishing causes vibration that old rings (with prongs for example ) often do not like at all.
