Using the primary colors in additive color synthesis, these works explore the mixtures and moods of light. They have been used in the very first color photographs through nearly all electronic devices with colour displays today. Each portal explores the mood of each of these primary colors.
Red grabs our attention, signals us of danger, stimulates our desires. Red is the first color babies see.
Painters tend to use red like spice. Digitally, I have used it to try to convey the essence of 'redness' as I experience it.

blackboxdotart is a software engineer, traditional artist (encaustic wax medium) and digital artist. Finding a synergy between technology and art, she explores the latent space of Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) algorithms and other digital manipulation techniques to create artworks that are a collaboration between human and machine. She has an insatiable curiosity and a love of learning new things. She is a founder of Women of Crypto Art (WOCA), and an active member of the cryptoart community as both a cryptoartist herself and an art collector. She is part of the Artist Council for the Museum of Crypto Art (M○C△), a genesis member of NFTs.WTF DAO, and a member of several art collectives including TXU, STATELESS and 105 Collective. She is an artist on DADA.art and co-creator of the Invisible Economy.
